Daily Download: Torrie vs Lita (Summer 2006)
Daily Download (”YouTube Edition”) continues today, with a match from RAW in the summer of 2006. The bout was between Torrie and Lita, who made her active return to the ring around the same time after months of serving solely as Edge’s manager. 2006 was a great year for Torrie as she showed how far she’d come as in an in-ring performer putting on great quality matches with the likes of Lita, Victoria and Mickie James. Though she lost the match, this match was a nice retrospective moment seeing two of WWE’s veteran Divas lock up:

I LOVED this match!
Torrie shoulda won this match…the fans got SOOOOO into once Torrie took control!
WWE shoulda gave them a proper feud b/c it woulda been great!

lmao i love how Lillian says “she is the covergirl for the WWE summer special magazine…Torrie Wilson” like its somethin special like as if it was “she is the WWE womens champion…Torrie Wilson”
