WWE personalities opening clothing store

The Woodlands is getting a little taste of smack down. Former World Wrestling Entertainment Tag Team Champion and The Woodlands High School product Nick Mitchell has opened a clothing store on Market Street with partner Torrie Wilson, a WWE diva.

Growing up in The Woodlands, Mitchell participated in a Mr. Woodlands contest and played on the high school football team. Wilson moved here to help Mitchell, her boyfriend, open the store.
“This is the first location, we definitely have plans to expand within the next two years,” Wilson said.
The owners feel the tastes and sense of fashion style displayed by area residents makes The Woodlands a prime location for Jaded.
“I have always been a big clothes horse,” Wilson said. “I made my own costumes and clothes. I moved to Houston a year ago and I realized there was nowhere to shop in The Woodlands for the kind of clothes I wanted to buy.”
Wilson said clothes are a way for people to express their personality.
“If you feel good about what you have on, you feel good about yourself,” Wilson said. “For a lot of people it is really a form of self expression.”
Jaded offers clothes with a celebrity feel, billed as casual, yet chic for the young and style-conscious.
The store features men’s and women’s clothes from designers such as Bejeweled, Sky, True Religion, LA Rock, BB Simon, Tarrina Tarrantino, Ed Hardy, Sinful, Dragonfly and Edward Dada.
“We have fun hats,” Wilson said. “We try to carry things that are original. A lot of stuff is attention-grabbing, nice, quality clothing that can fit any age group to the hipster that likes to hang out with their friends at night, to the mother who has to go pick up their kids from school.”
Wilson said she likes to wear funky, flashy outfits.
“I’m a Texas girl,” Wilson said. “I like the bling, something that catches someone’s attention.”
