Torrie spoke to the Houston Chronicle website explaining what happened last weekend when she had a big health scare. Read excerpts below:

“I had a bad reaction to medicine because of a thyroid problem I have had for years, and my heart was starting to shut down on me. This was combined with the newfound discovery that I have an abnormally slow heartbeat. By the time I reluctantly went to the doctor, I was rushed to the emergency room with numb arms and legs and blue hands. I was extremely dizzy and nauseous. I still didn’t take this seriously until the doctor started freaking out on me,” Wilson said.

“I had a horribly close call, and I’m ashamed to admit that I ‘Twittered’ about it hours after I was out of the hospital because I was so flabbergasted at what happened! I guess I forgot how many people actually pay attention to me,” Wilson said.

She continued. “I was not taking prescription pain pills and anything crazy — like the Internet rumors said. It’s horrifying that all those crazy people accuse me of that just because I used to be a wrestler. Who knows what would have happened if I didn’t go to the emergency room? It’s a scary thought. My heart rate was 30 per minute and slowing when I finally got help. I will never take medication without doing research on possible adverse reactions. In a nutshell, that’s what happened.”

We’re so glad you’re doing better, Torrie!!!

As most of you guys know, Torrie had a health scare over the weekend but is doing much better now. Here’s an update from her, taken from her Facebook page (be sure to become a fan!):

Thanks so much for all the love and concern regarding my lil hospital stint! I have thyroid problems and was given medicine that had a horrible adverse reaction for someone with thyroid issues. My heart was slowly stopping and was dow…n to 30 bpm! I was getting cold and my arms and legs were gettting numb like I was having heart failure! So SCARY but I am fine now thank GOD!

Torrie is going to be auctioning off some of her most memorable outfits for charity, on eBay! The first outfit up now is a gorgeous white dress worn by Torrie at Christian Audigier’s birthday party in 2004, photos of which can be seen here.

All the proceeds will be going to charity, so not only do you get a highly memorable Torrie keepsake but you’ll be raising money for a worthy cause too!

Earlier this week, our girl Torrie gave WWE Women’s Champion, Michelle McCool props in my interview with her. Well now Michelle returns the favour in an interview with MichelleMcCool.net:

MM.net: You have a lot of jewelry. From necklaces to bracelets to rings, it seems as though Michelle McCool never leaves the house without some bling. Our question is, which piece is your favorite and why?
MM: I’m not sure about that. I do have that silver and black bracelet that I wear alot. I got it from Torrie and I love it. It’s just one of those pieces that goes with everything and can add a lot of sparkle to an outfit. When all else fails, accessorize!!!

MM.net: Your good friend Torrie Wilson has mentioned you several times in various interviews. What do you think about her never having a title run? Would you have liked to defend your Divas (or even your Women’s) title against her?
MM: I think that she totally deserved a title run. I’m not sure there will be another diva with her popularity. She is the most incredible, genuine person who deserves nothing but the best. Would I defend it against her? Of course because it’d mean she’d be on the road with me again.
